Practice Gratitude Daily Challenge: This One’s Going To Make A Big Impact On Your Life!

We’ve outlined a gratitude challenge on Challenge Addict before. That challenge involved using a gratitude journal and a gratitude jar to help you keep up an attitude of gratitude. It’s a great way to start practicing gratitude in your daily life. But, Jack Canfield just outlined a daily practice in a video that is perfect for anyone who really wants to challenge themselves and practice gratitude in many aspects of their day.

Practice Gratitude Challenge

Normally this is where we outline the benefits of the challenge, but since we’ve outlined the big benefits of gratitude here on the gratitude journal challenge article, we will let you check that out and get on with the challenge of practicing gratitude daily!

Practice Gratitude Daily Challenge: 5 Things You Need To Do Daily

You are going to do 5 big things daily during this challenge. Your focus will be on appreciation in almost every moment of your day, and that will help you adopt gratitude into your life and receive the big benefits that it offers.

Jack Canfield says that this full routine should be done for at least 30 days. But, I’m sure he would like you to go further than that if you want to.

Following is the video where he talks about the daily gratitude routine. I will outline the big points underneath the video.

  1. In the morning, write down what you are grateful for. Jack says 7 minutes, but take as much time as you want. Doing this helps you start your day off focused on being grateful, which helps you keep in mind the rest of the daily tasks.
  2. Take the time to appreciate at least 3 people during your day. You can tell them you appreciate them or let them know through another way, such as text, a note, or email.
  3. Look for something to appreciate in every situation. Whether you are at home, work, or out and about, notice those things that are worthy of your gratitude.
  4. Keep something on you, like a rock or crystal, and each time you feel it during the day, take the time to stop, breathe, and practice gratitude.
  5. Use the mirror exercise each night. This involves you standing in front of a mirror and talking to yourself, so make sure you get some alone time during the evening before bed! You should say your name, express gratitude for your daily achievements, express gratitude for things (healthy habits, appointments, tasks) you followed through on in the day, and express gratitude for how good you were at avoiding temptations. Then close out your mirror session by telling the person in it that you love them!

If you do this challenge for the full 30 days, please come back and let us know how it impacted your life!
