Digging Into Your Words And Thoughts With Marisa Peer

I’m currently taking a course by Marisa Peer, and, so far, a lot of what she talks about is positive affirmations. I’m blown away at how impactful the course has been so far. She has a knack for explaining things in a simple way that seems to stick in your mind. If you are looking for a teacher to help you get a hold of your mind and change the way you talk to yourself, she is the one to reach out to. Marisa says that what you tell your mind, it will believe, so tell it things you want it to believe!

Marisa Peer quote

That concept is the whole essence of positive affirmations. You tell yourself things you want to believe and then your mind starts to believe it and your life starts to be shaped by what it believes.

In one of her classes in the course I’m taking, she added something to that thought that has stuck with me and I thought it might impact you positively too. She said, simply, you make your beliefs and your beliefs make you, so make your beliefs good!

It’s simple. Make your beliefs good. But it’s a mantra to live by if you want to pay attention to the words you are saying and change them to more positive self-talk.

The Rules Of Your Mind

Part of what she talks about in the course I’m taking is the rules of the mind. Understanding the rules of the mind helps you create beneficial beliefs.

She says that the rules of the mind affect abundance – or, in other words, getting the wealth, relationship, health, job, and happiness you want. So, if that interests you, I highly recommend you learn the rules of the mind!

The following video lays out the rules of the mind by Marisa Peer.

How Do These Rules Of The Mind Fit Into Your Life?

Take the time to think about what you learned from Marisa and how it applies life. That will make what you learned even more impactful.

For instance, think of how the following rules of the mind by Marisa Peer have been true in your life:

  1. What is expected tends to be realized.
  2. Your mind works to move towards pleasure and away from pain.

When you really reflect on these, it becomes obvious how powerful your mind is and how important it is to talk to it in a positive way.

For example, what is expected tends to be realized is something we can all relate to. Maybe you have said something like “I’m going to get sick” and eventually you ended up getting sick. Or, maybe you knew that someone was going to betray you, and they did. You expected these things and they happened.

And, of course, we all know that your mind works to move towards pleasure and away from pain. If you tell your mind that something is painful, then it will believe it. Whether it’s getting up early, working overtime, going to dinner with a family member, or sitting down to study, your mind will know what you find pleasurable and painful and try to move you away from the painful things. This is why it’s important to tell your mind that you find important tasks pleasurable. For example, tell your mind that you LOVE getting up early. The more you do, the more your mind will believe it and the easier it will become to get up early.

If you want to dig more into the words you say and thoughts you think and how they impact your life, then I highly suggest taking Marisa’s course. It’s focused on creating abundance by reprogramming your subconscious mind. You can also take her free masterclass to learn more about her and her course.
